The Orbit beta trial has ended
Thank you to everyone who tested Orbit. Your reports led to dozens of fixed bugs and merged improvements, and Orbit is far more stable and capable because of them.
Trial API keys stay active until Sunday, October 11, 2026. After that, Orbit works with your own keys or subscription, or with local models.
What's next: User Defined Tools
We're launching User Defined Tools (UDTs), a new set of features for Orbit. To stay in the beta, sign up here. We'll send you a new set of API keys once you've signed up.
Sign up for the UDT beta
- Sign in with an .edu account, or another account at a legitimate educational institution.
- That account must match the email you use for usegalaxy.org.
- The UDT beta runs on usegalaxy.org only for now. Other Galaxy servers will follow later in the year.
